If you are a homeowner thinking about selling your home or if you are a Realtor getting ready to list a house or have a house that has been sitting on the market for awhile and not selling, you should consider having it staged. It can really change the whole look of the house and give it a model home look.
We were brought in by a Realtor to help a homeowner with the staging of their resale property. The homeowner felt that there house needed to be freshened up before putting it on the market. We did a verbal consultation on the property which consisted of us going through the house with the homeowner room by room telling them what needed to be done in the house as far as staging and updating. After the consultation, it was up to the homeowner on how they wanted to proceed with their staging project. We could complete all of the staging and updating suggestions we had made for them or the homeowner could take are suggestions and complete the actual staging and updating on their own.
The homeowner decided they wanted us to do the actual staging of the home. So, we staged the entire house using things that were already in the home and we brought in our own accessories and artwork to use for the staging.
